So Many Stars Out There

Put your name on a poem
And send it up to the stars…
So you can be amongst the sky
Just like Mars…
So you can be around the sun
Where light be…
And you can be amongst the gods
Just like me.
They wonder if intelligent life
Is out there…
They used to look up to the sky,
They now stare.
They’re looking for the U.F.O’s.
They’ve been there.
They look up at the clouds,
But doubt they’re in there.
They fail to realize
There’s nothing that’s new.
From the liberty bell
To the liberty statue.
From the Earth
To the planets existing before ours.
Keep your eye to the sky
And keep looking out…for stars!!
