Aaron Kinzer (PA)

Aaron Kinzer was released from prison.

Aaron M. Kinzer is a journalist, poet, spoken word performer, and aspiring children’s book author. He passionately uses his pen and voice to shine a humanizing light from inside America’s dark dungeons.

In the 1980s, his family was torn apart by crack cocaine and the failed war on drugs. In the 2000s, as a young twenty-something, he became a father and a new millennium drug dealer, imitating the dealers he saw as a child.

In 2010, after felony convictions in Virginia and Georgia, he was indicted and subsequently convicted and sentenced to 15 years in federal prison on drug trafficking charges. He will be released in 2024.
