My name is Reggie West. I am 39, 5’8”, 180lbs, fit, born Jan 22nd, 1982, in the deep south of Louisiana.
I’m a new and aspiring writer/poet/artist and activist, inspired by emotions, hope, dreams, nightmares and trials and tribulation.
I am serving a sentence of life in a Pennsylvania State Prison, where I have been for the past 19 years, working relentlessly, creating my next piece of writing and art.
Most of my days are spent mentally, physically and spiritually seeking enlightenment through literature, fitness, fighting for social and prison reform, human rights and developing different avenues in which to empower the youth and my community upon my release.
