Poem Story
By Miguel Baez-Rios

A few days ago, a lady came to ask me about who I really am. I said someone who dreams big, thinks positive, and loves peace. And communication is key, at least that’s what I think. I say also someone who got caught on a party to a crime. That means, I was there but did not commit the crime. I find that life only works for the ones that were born with a spoon in their mouth and decide other people’s lives. I also told her it’s not your fault that life is already made, and we are born to be in it. Everyone got their chances in their lives. Different ones, good and bad, only takes a lesson to learn from the bad ones; the good chances, that’s happiness.

Day and Night
By Miguel Baez-Rios

Day and night too much thinking about
Your gorgeous face, lips and eyes
Everytime I feel too much feelings
deep inside.
You are a blossom flower and also a
Flying butterfly
Day and night, I still see you running
Through my mind
I ask myself, is this love or not?
Is it powerful or is it toxic?
Do I think it’s realistic or a night dream?
It might be an illusion or another bad
Story with a good ending
Time will tell and in the meantime,
I would wait, why wait?
Is it better than hurry and die young or
Live to be old and wise?
Women you are the truth of all this life. Why? Because when I see you
You stop my time
