Hello my name is Daniel Porter #1019936. I’m new to this platform and aiming to contribute to your wonderful publication. About me, I’m five foot eight inches tall, I was born September 8, 1987 in Carson City, Nevada due to my mother’s incarceration however I am a Las Vegas native. Since the beginning of my incarceration in 2015 I have dedicated myself to changing my state of being while being deliberate about my thoughts and actions. Trials, tribulations, and my past thoughts has nudged me into the world of writing. I never knew writing could be so fulfilling – giving me the opportunity to express and process my thoughts and experiences. I’ve found inspiration to write short essays, non-fiction, fiction, poetry, and small business reports. I’m currently working on a special report about the psychology in relationships and business a prisoners’ perspective. In the future I hope to produce my first fiction book and an essay on Criminal Justice reform a behind the scenes perspective from someone who has experienced the flaws in the system. I really hope my works bring you peace, prosperity, and a different outlook about me. Let this be the start. Chances make champions.
