Michael Flinner is a 50-something, happily married father from Southern California, an ardent Jew whose deliberate focus from beyond the myriad walls of San Quentin’s Condemned Row since 2004 has been prison reform.

Vocal and visible in various social justice movements, switching the narrative from revenge to redemption proves no easy task. An accomplished author, “A Portion of Thyself: Essential Reflections from Death Row,” Michael remains proactive in efforts to galvanize like-minded global advocacy toward living inmate organ donation legislation on a national stage – replacing destruction with life through healing, rehabilitation, and forgiveness. Inducement –free organ and tissue transplants for immediate biological match-worthy family members. Michael welcomes any and all participation as well as contributions in the form of U.S. Postage stamps to fuel his arduous snail mail campaign. Postage permitting, he will answer all.
