SOMEBODY LIKE YOU

Today, while in deep thought
I could not help
but think of
someone whom
has touched my life
in such a magical way…
that someone is you.
Never in my wildest dreams
could have I ever imagined
that someone like you
would have such a
profound effect on my life…
Little do you realize it
you have awoken
a spirit within me
that has lied dormant
for a very long time.
Because of you
I am able to
fully explore
my creative side,
and thanks to you
I am inspired beyond
anything I ever imagined
I realized something else today…
words nor deeds
can really suffice
to match all
the wonderful things
you’ve done for me.
Nonetheless,
I want you to know
that I am
eternally grateful
for someone like you.
MY DEAR FRIEND

You cannot begin to imagine
what your friendship means to me…
The best way to describe it
is that you fill a void in my life,
and even though you will never
take the place of my children,
just like I could never
take the place of _______ & _______,
nor am I gonna try.
But I do want you to know
that you are very special to me
and that I care about you,
which I have
almost a million reasons why,
but not quite.
And you should know
that as your friend
I will be there as best as I can.
Now you know that you have
someone else in your life
who truly cares about you…
so whenever you’re
feeling insecure and doubting yourself,
please go back and read this.
THE LUCKIEST PERSON

It isn’t too often
that someone comes along
that you feel
an instant connection with…
and what is
so extraordinary about that
is that with each passing day
you feel the vibe
as the friendship grows
by leaps and bounds…
What is even more amazing
is that
somewhere along the way
you know deep down
in your heart
that this person
exceeds your expectations
of what true friendship really is.
Because of them
you now glow and have
an unmistakable feeling of being
the luckiest person in the world.
THIS MORNING

This morning, as I awoke
and began collecting my thoughts,
I thought of you,
just like I do
each and everyday…
This morning, in particular,
I am invigorated with
a renewed sense of energy,
feeling moved and motivated
all because I truly feel
that someone,
and not just anyone,
but a true friend
has come into my life
and brought me absolute joy.
Because of that,
I feel alive once again
and that I have purpose,
which is why I carry you
so close to me
throughout the day
and into the evening…
This morning, as I wake up
and think about you,
the thing that would make
my heart the most content
is that I put
a smile on your face
and brightened your day.
