We have a name we can call: Heavenly Father.
We have a name we can call: Jehovah Rapa We have a name we can call: Jehovah Nissi. We have a name we can call: Jehovah Jireh.
There were many times in my life when I should’ve died, many nights in a cell when I almost tried. Thought my purpose in life had avoided me, only to find out it was Your Son who was holding me. Yet, it wasn’t until I couldn’t walk that I had to listen, understanding only through your grace was I still living. So much on my mental, man my soul’s vexed; delivered from gang banging but Lord what’s next. Started searching through Your Word things getting clear, began walking by faith so I feel You near. A lot of people turned their backs when I had my fall, no visits, no mail, definitely no calls. Kept my focus on You, kept You in my sights. Called on Your name, now I’m walking by Your light.
Baptized in Your name, now I have peace. Living as the true version, of God’s Masterpiece! You said, what You have for me is the very best, but I needed to know- there’s no testimony without the test. Every day isn’t Sunday; some days are kind of hard. Got to say the Lord’s Prayer just to make yard. Temptations all around, the enemy never stops. To steal and to kill, is that trickster’s plot. Yet, there’s a Ram in the bush if I only took the time to see. That all I really had to do was submit to God, resist, and the enemy would flee.
Washed in Your blood, now I’m made new. Not about to break before my breakthrough. Serving The True and Living God, priorities no longer torn, for it is by You Lord that I’m transformed. So, my gaze is fixed on You, got to get the prize. I want to hear well done when You crack the sky.
There is a name we can call: Jesus, Jesus!
