People have asked me to prove to them that there is a God and He still exists and lives today. Here’s what I’ve come up with to tell them.
Consider this if you will, then you decide for yourself:
Ninety-three million miles from the blistering surface of our sun, hangs our planet Earth. A rotating sphere, perfectly suspended in the center of the universe in which we live. The ultimate creation, from an infinite mind, an unbelievably intricate complex design, a supernatural testimony and an irrefutable sign, that there is a God.
The size and position and angle of the Earth is a scientific phenomenon to witness, for if we were a few degrees closer to the sun we’d all burn up and disintegrate, and yet just a few degrees further away and we’d all freeze.
The axis of the Earth is tilted at a perfect 23-degree angle and make no mistake about it, that is what allows equal global distribution of the rays of the sun upon the surface of our planet, which is what enables, and makes possible, the food chains here on Earth to exist.
Or take for example the combination of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere we all breathe every day. It just so happens to be the exact mix that life as we know it needs to prosper and live. There’s no other planet in the galaxy that’s ever been found, that contains this exact mix because it just doesn’t happen anywhere else that way.
You see, the Bible tells us that the invisible things of God can clearly be seen throughout all His creation. And to actually believe this isn’t really all that hard, for even man in his limited knowledge knows that; if there’s a design, there must be a designer. If there’s a plan, then there must be a planner, and if there’s ever a miracle to be seen, then there must be a God.
The scriptures say that the heavens declare the glory of God, and that the skies proclaim the works of His hands. If we’ll just allow our minds to drink in all the truth that surrounds us, creation itself will help all of us to see and understand.
Did you know the moon controls the oceans’ tides and its waves that clean it? Everything’s been designed with, and for, a clear purpose to fill. So even those waves crashing upon the shores don’t do it without a reason. They drag the impurities back out into the depths of the sea as mother nature’s constant recycling chain.
It simply amazes me to sit here in my cell and think about all the stars up in the sky. They’ve all rotated over planet Earth, day in and day out, for millions of years now with exact precision and timing. It’s true that the atomic clock, with an error factor of less than three seconds per millennium, is in fact, set to and by the way they all move. Although they silently orbit our sun and our moon, if you’d only see it for yourself, it’s like all the stars are celestial evangelists up above us, circling the Earth every 24 hours, shouting out with all their might and in every language that…YES, you’d better start believing there’s a God still controlling everything to this very day still.
Atheism is the wedge in all our foundations trying desperately to attack our faith, trying always to topple our relationship with Jesus Christ. When the fool says in his heart that there is no God, then he’s rejecting the very truth that God’s painted on the canvas in the sky above us every single night.
Atheism has never created an artistic masterpiece, ever healed someone from a fatal disease, nor ever calmed a fear. Atheism has still never given any answer or reason for our existence or even why we’re all even here. It has never brought any peace to a troubled mind or even dried a single tear.
For it was God who created all the heavens and the Earth, then flung those stars up into outer space. Only God has ever breathed in a handful of dirt in order to become a man like us. It’s God who sits on the circle of the Earth and measures the mountains with a scale, and it’s God who holds the seven seas all in the palms of His mighty hands. It was God who sent His only begotten Son to the cross of calvary in order to save our souls from the depths of hell through the grave. So if you didn’t believe in Him before, then you’d better start believing in Him today, for it’s God who created everything all around us, it’s God who’s got the ability to deliver us and heal us, and it’s God who’s most definitely worthy of a thunderous foundational roar of praise from every living, breathing being here this day and evermore.
For those who’ll believe the truth there is hope, because God is real and yes, He’s still here watching over all of us since the beginning of creation, to this very day we’re living in today. He has the answer to all questions and He’s a never-ending flame burning bright lighting up the night providing us the light we need to find our way.
He still lives today and forever more. He’s the beginning as well as the end if He chooses. It’s because He is alive that there is still hope for all of mankind, men and women, old or young, everyone that’s living here this very day. He’s our light to lead us all, and I know, I know, oh God, I know that there is a God that’s still here with me and you, and all who’ll only believe in Him this very moment of time and very day we’re living in now. He’ll be here for evermore. He’ll never leave us or abandon us or forsake us, if we’ll only put our trust and faith in Him and Him alone.
So…let me ask you this; if you didn’t believe it before, then after reading this, what do you think now? Only a fool would say there is no God. Don’t be a fool. God is real, God is still alive, God is still desiring only for us to repent and come back home to Him, it’s so simple. The Bible says even a baby can understand it, all you need to do is simply believe in Him and accept Him. The choice is yours to make. I hope you make the right choice!
