Shine

She shines like the radiant sun,
bringing excitement with a smile that can brighten an otherwise cloudy day,
cold and somber – behind stone walls where i t ‘ s darkest,
I can heel her warmth and embrace,
like the sun rays she kisses on me leaving behind a shine inked on my skin,
Permanently… like the life she gives,
her energy like her radiance ever so addicting, I feel alive,
Her glow an ambience of comfort, a place of serenity,
I found my home. I found my peace…
A breath of joy, a sigh of relief,
I found, My Shine.
