I’d like to introduce you to my life where not everything is perfect, but boy is it a success! I have four kids and a wife with a house that’s not a mansion, but we love it, nonetheless. I have a job as a Social Worker which pays well, but more importantly I just love helping others.
I’m truly blessed to be in such a position to help my fellow neighbors, sisters and brothers. My wife is beautiful both inside and out, and sometimes I think she’s too good to be true. She’s a great mom, a great cook, an amazing wife, and she even has a job too! I do my best to help in the home, but it’s clear she’s so much better. It must be that special touch of a mother, because she’s on point no matter the weather. Sure, we have some occasional arguments, and sure the kids act up at times, but we always work things out because we have a love that truly outshines! As a family of faith, we love God first, go to church, and serve others from a place of grace. This keeps us grounded and founded in a love and purpose that’s so much greater than Space!
I also have many friends and sometimes we’ll do things as families, or just with us guys. Whether we go to the park, camping or just out to eat, it’s so much fun the time just flies! We have a few nice cars and a truck too, and I have also invested in a big “RV”. We get to travel the country with family and friends, for this brings us great glee!
Gosh! What a great life I’ve been able to live! … “CHOW TIME!” … I awaken…If only any of this were true. A prison guard opens my door, the dream poofs away, 20 years later I’m still here wishing I was you. Please don’t take this path, for I too was once young, troubled and sentenced to “Life” as a teen.
I wish I would’ve asked for help, but I was too hurt and prideful. Perhaps you know what I mean? Troubles come in different forms or degrees, but we’re all alike when it comes to feeling anger and pain. I wish I received the help I needed, for perhaps my dream and the dreams of those I hurt would remain. If only I did a few things different, if only I was still in your shoes.
If only I saw what I see now, nevertheless…it’s your time to choose.
