As we enter this holiday season, with the end of another year fast-approaching, we reflect with gratitude on the efforts of so many extraordinary people who contribute their time, talent, and energy to make Minutes Before Six possible.
We have the best volunteer team that any project could ever hope for, composed of men and women from all over the world who have the very biggest hearts. They work tirelessly on the writing and art of our contributors, and there is no way our project could exist without their amazing efforts. We are so very grateful for them and their boundless kindness.
Minutes Before Six’s Board of Directors provides exceedingly wise counsel and demonstrates resolute commitment. We cannot understate our appreciation for their leadership and guidance, and acknowledge how much we have grown in the best ways possible, thanks to them.
Generous gifts from donors have enabled Minutes Before Six to maintain its website, cover a lot of operating costs, and purchase supplies such as stamps and stationary that are necessary to communicating with our contributors and sharing their work. We are so grateful to those who value the work of our contributors enough to help fund us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

November 21, 2022 at 3:47 amQuite simply the best prison writing site on the internet. And I know, I read all of them. There are a few podcast/telephone sits springing up in the past couple of years, probably as a result of non visits and lockdown. It would be nice to hear the voices of some of the contributors, if only briefly.
Prison reform in the USA is a huge topic, where nothing seems to change. Texas and Ohio keep killing, and California keeps them on ice, the sword of Damocles ever overhead. Mould, segregation, poor food, none of this would exist in the U.K. not for a second, we are lucky to have laws that protect inmates, from each other, themselves and especially from the state.
Thank you team for your unpaid work. For your diligence and your care. Your compassion and your love. It’s a great site, especially after the ‘renovation’. One criticism and it’s not meant in a negative way, a more update photo of Nostro Thomas would be appreciated.
Again thank you. We don’t do Thanksgiving here, and personally I would love to experience a thanksgiving dinner. But I wish you all the best for the upcoming season, as we lurch towards baby Jesus’s 2023rd birthday.
