Graham may just be in the runner up for Nightmare on Elm Street I would say. A guy I ran into said this place was bad, but I thought I could come get better medical care. Big mistake. Not only after four years I haven’t got problem resolved medically, but they literally get kicks out of putting your life in danger. So many have been forced in with cellies who try to provoke a fight and when you tell them, their answer is “Fight or walk yourself. Either way, you’re going to seg.” In my case, hoping to get medical care, I never imagined I could have a greater chance of having my life on the line, especially warning them of my medical injuries. It’s like talking to a wall – they still say, ‘fight or walk yourself’, but refuse to compromise and single-cell me no matter what’s wrong.
Even the single cell CPAP machine guys they claimed were the only ones allowed single cells, are now losing single cell status. Guys are committing suicide. Don’t know all the deaths but know there are some. Then the real shocker is you stay in trouble trying to transfer and they say you are ineligible due to being in trouble! Me, no trouble, yet I can’t transfer unless I’m minimum status as if no other medians exist. I made my way from max to medium/max, now to a medium that’s somehow worse than others.
Since I’ve been here, guys have even had trouble getting places paroled looked into. One had them tell his girlfriend she was not on the list, but his kid’s mother and got him on outs with his girlfriend. Another they told him his people said ‘No, he could not parole there’. He called, found no one ever talked to them. Getting good time was a battle for those who could receive it. We have a doctor who is good, but they thwart him from getting medication he may place an order to get us and probably, like I was told, even throw out prescription orders. I was supposed to get Tylenol which the doctor ordered for me back in May 2023 and they can’t find the order, I’m told. Only this joint – some who come say it is like this when I thought all were likely this way. I don’t know why. I try not to ponder on this to prevent insanity. But yes, there’s more, it’s sad.
Say a prayer for us y’all. We could use it all around the U.S. Pray for us, you never know what’s happening in lock-up sometimes.
