Just a quick note to all the regulars out there: My long awaited surgery for my broken arm has taken place. I will write Part Two of “Is There a Doctor In The House” in a couple of weeks and fill in all the details, but for now I am letting my arm rest. I am also going to back off my mail replies, too. (You will see why when you look at the picture taken today of what my arm looks like. I wonder if Frankenstein had 41 staples in his upper arm.) Anyway, I hope this does the trick and I can eventually get back to a normal routine. I will know in a few weeks if the nerve ganglions are going to heal properly, and all the swelling goes down. Until then I am taking it easy.
The point is that I would love to hear from you, but please don’t expect me to reply for a while. For one thing, it may take a week for my mail to get back up, since they put a hold on deliveries when you leave as I did for the surgery. But the main thing is that I need to protect my arm, since as soon as I got back here they cut off the cast that the doctors put on while I was in the hospital, since TDC thinks that casts are weapons.
Thanks, K, for writing this for me.
