Greetings. My name is Vincent, and I’m an ex-professional baseball player who was drafted out of high school by the Toronto Blue Jays. During this incarceration, from day one, I have strived to grow spiritually, educate myself, contribute to society through writing, and I still work daily to build a support network of mentors who will contribute to my future success, and to help keep me accountable now and after I’m released. During this incarceration, I have attained both a Bachelors and a Masters degree. I am a writer and a poet, and I’m a proud member of the Academy of American Poets in New York City. I have written over 3,600 pieces of poetry that I share with the world in order to uplift, inspire, and to encourage others. I welcome constructive and honest feedback on my writing.
