My name is Julio Medrano. I was born on June 25th, 1993 in Acapulco, Mexico – a year later I along with my family uprooted to Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2017 I was convicted and sentenced to a 10-to-30-year sentence. When I’m released from prison, I will be deported back to Mexico. I don’t have any anxieties about my situation, I am very eager to get out of prison and to start my life over. This time with a new perspective and outlook on life. I am strong, intelligent, honest, patient, kind and courageous. My hobbies/interests are: drawing, working out, playing chess, reading, and playing handball. My short-term goals are to create an art portfolio & market it to the world while I’m in prison, to become a better Spanish speaker, to enroll into computer classes to learn a marketable skill. My long-term goals are to open up a tattoo shop, travel the world, and take care of my family. I began drawing about 2 years ago. What interested me most was starting the picture of the object I’m drawing and watching it come to life. I enjoy drawing portraits, as well as Black and grey pencil art. I would like to encourage everyone who visit my page to leave comments on my writings/art, add/follow me on social media, and share my writings/art with your friends/followers on social media.
