Writing for me, has allowed me to have a voice. To change the narrative of who people say I am or who I should be. I am allowed to share my beliefs, my aspirations, and my story. I am a father, a son, a brother, a friend, a writer and poet, and a believer in a higher power; an eternal optimist. I believe in speaking for the oppressed, as well as those who are down and out. I tend to meet people in the crossroads and I believe in kindred spirits. That, we are destined to meet the people we encounter, for better or for worst. When I write, I hope to elicit hope, healing, humor, and genuine positivity.
