Derek Ellwood is pacific northwest poet who has pieces published in Honoring Our Rivers and Neal C. Lemery’s Building Communities. He also has a few works published under Tristen or Tristan the writer. He is passionate about writing but his real love is fishing and drawing from the spirit of the rivers and streams. He is currently housed at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution.
