My name is Denard T. Galloway. I feel blessed with the recent development. On August 3, 2022 I submitted to a Polygraph Examination regarding my Wrongful Conviction. I passed with a 98.8% conclusive. I am a 56 year young African American, born and raised in the Hill District section of Pittsburgh, Pa and the only child of Barbara J. Galloway. I have been living a nightmare since March 8, 1999 when was unjustly arrested, charged and subsequently convicted of a crime I did not commit. It is very important that I share that with you to give a sense of what the last 23 years, 5 months and 21 days has been like for me. Please! just think about that for a second… Its been some really tough days in here, but God has given me the strength to be patient and never give up on the truth, that is why every breath I take is to bring awareness to this issue. Despite these challengingtimes, I’ve learned to turn my cell into a University, in this darkness I continue to grown into a light of my own. I humbly consider myself to be loyal, kind and patient. I enjoy paintings, reading, exercising, playing scrabble and having interesting dialog about daily life. I am studying diligently with the hopes of becoming a successful entrepreneur one day soon.
