Hello friend. My name is Anthony Daniel Gonzales, an outgoing child of God who loves my family, friends and people in general. I am a 39-year-old first term Lifer who has been incarcerated since 2004 when I was 19 (over 20 years). After having fought for self-defense at trial, I was convicted for 2nd degree murder and sentenced to 16 to life, something I could have never imagined happening. I do not have a prior criminal record, nor was I ever involved in gangs or running the streets. I was raised in church with a loving mom and dad, with two younger sisters and 1 older brother all close in age, and I had a good job in a good city before my fall.
