Femicide is Colonial Violence

Femicide is the reality of ongoing murder of women in our society. It’s a sin to not believe that colonized women cannot be understood outside the diary of social conditions created by colonialism itself.
Across the world, women are being killed at alarming rates with no real help. Women and girls are killed by intimate partners or family members over wealth. Africa recorded the highest rates of femicide, with an estimated 22,600 women killed by partners or relatives hour after hour. Red flower may be poison. This data might make this outcome sours due to the conditions imposed on colonized women living under colonialism power. Killadelphia where the city has normalized violence by cowards, women are not protected from violence, instead they are targeted within it. The home becomes another site where colonial violence is reproduced. Femicide on our women is all over the globe. Is this what religion produced? Across the world women have experienced physical or sexual violence that has been reintroduced during slavery and hip hop. Please stop the violence because femicide is one expression of a violent social order maintained by colonialism.
