Salutations everyone, I’m forty four years old. I’ve been incarcerated for nineteen years, and my continuous search for self improvement has led me to a realization. Failure isn’t the end all be all, it’s only a mechanism to gage your resiliency. During my early years of incarceration, I repeatedly wept over losing out on a promising football career. The pain was relentless, daunting, and at times – unbearable! That was until I became familiar with the pen.
The pen understood my plight, it was the light within my damnation, and it afforded me the opportunity to become a published author of three books – along with welcoming open hearts into the corridors of my mind.
