Memory
By John Price

Born on May 7, 1988, in Birmingham, Alabama
A place that started and birthed something great
Recognized overcomings of organized and systematic hate
Radicalized freedom of expression, revolution in my DNA
That wasn’t a Kendrick Lamar song reference
Just greatness embedded in my essence or character traits
Modern day Black Caesar overboard a slave ship at my own dictate
Through these jails and other institutions built for confinement keeping up and not catching up I navigate
Apart of a Moorish Dynasty more than just a memory or soliloquy
I’ve been graced to ascend over the ways of the inner-standing of the djinn’s
I’m relentless Fam, our success coming again and again my friends
Over-Standing my former downfalls as stepping stones no longer my pitfalls
Memory, know in our successes I won’t forget yall

Not I
By John Price

It’s only so much I can do to not cave in on MySelf Letting so much slide so that I wouldn’t squander my personal wealth. I feel it’s quite sad to dwell or ponder on failed relations I’d once dealt.

I get mad when those from my past dealings wanna paint a picture of me egotistical. My primary focuses are concretely residual. I’m likeMinded with positive, proficient, and studious individuals. Rather not do much talking yet and still making my thoughts not so visual. Time’s ticking while being stuck in a miserable real Life Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual prison. Exoneration is now in order, purified and refined from a negatively perpetrated and dusty Aura.
