Build-A-Better You Bear
By Margaret Barker

How to build-a-better you bear you ask. Build-a-better you bear has many parts. We will start with the temple, which is you, so take Jesus to heart. We are the tummy, the center, without us there can’t be a bear or temple. We are the vessel for the Lord; it is that simple.

My better you bear needs a head which is the Bible that needs to be read. It doesn’t take much to plant the seed of knowledge. You will have to water your seeds with the words from the Bible to make it grow and it’s not for show.

Now we need arms. Use these 2 arms for good, not fight. Praise the Lord Jesus with all your might. He don’t care if it’s left or right, just keep the Lord in sight. It can be the Father or the Son, so don’t be alarmed, you can do this and it can be fun. A hug is love, that’s what God is made of.

I need legs for my temple to stand, so the church comes next, O man, O man. “When 2 or more people are gathered in my name, I’ll be there,” that’s what the Lord said. Then He, the Lord, the Father, turned it up and gave us the Holy Spirit to be shared. No one is to be spared or stuck. So with the church and Holy Spirit you can stand tall, when others just have one and they stumble or fall. If you see this, help them, don’t stand around and watch them, bring them to the Lord, don’t sit there and be a stone, bring them home to Christ our Lord.

With these simple parts all working together, you can build-a-better you bear to love, our Father in heaven. Forgiveness is done seven times seven. So do it quick, do it fine, the Lord says, “you are mine.”

The Way to God is Through the Jesus Ship…
By Margaret Barker

Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. The devil is throwing stones at us, and getting in our way. But the trip is worth every trial you go through.

His Love
By Margaret Barker

Love is a warm bubbly feeling you get when you think of someone or about something.
My love comes to me when I pray to my Lord and Savior and what to me, he means.
It’s a love, complete and full. Sometimes it makes me want to dance around and shout.
Praising my Lord is what it’s all about.
Sometimes I cry, other times I laugh, whatever my soul feels like at the time, I will do.
I let go of my old self for the one that’s new.
You can’t control that feeling and it stays with you constantly, so that you want to share it with others.
Some you call your sisters, others you call your brothers.
That is but half the way God feels about us, plus more. In His eyes, you are adored.
His love is unending and always there, for when you need him or when you want to share.
His love is a lifeline to many and more to close. His love is given, not won.
He loves each and every one of us the same, no matter what we do or fuss.
Go to the Lord with a heavy heart, that’s the first place to start.
He is there for you, who needs, so get down on your knees.
His love is there for you and me as we plea, as we pray to the Lord, the devil will flee.

Praising God
By Margaret Barker

Move over Satan, Lord hear my plea. I want the Lord to move all over me.
I want that fire to get into my body and mind. I want that feeling all of the time.
I’m going to lift my hands up to the heavens to give the Lord my praises. I don’t care how much hell the devil raises.
I’m going to stomp my feet to the music of the Lord’s beat.
I’m going to sing and shout, even if I can’t sing worth a lick. That’s all I’m saying and it’s not a trick.
Watch out people, I don’t care who stares. I’m not going to get trapped in the devil snares.
I want to pass this feeling around, to every woman and man all over town.
I want to see God riding that horse in the sky, but most of all I don’t want Him to pass me by.
