Self-mastery is due to the beauty and genius of a supreme being in action and intellect in prisons especially solitary confinement. Perhaps most ancient indigenous cultures have honored this concept. They may have made it universal for all supreme beings and human beings to follow. This science gave human beings the ability to become supreme beings with a decent intelligent self.
However, an inmate can achieve a great mental health and physical health in prison through positivity, meditation and eating healthy. This exercise would help prisoners relax mentally so they can think properly. Prisoners must be physically clean such as: hands, feet, nails, teeth, ears, body and private area.
(Elijah Muhammad says in order to become masters we must first learn the science of life.)
Instead of prisoners placing their attention on time, past, future, false reality, they shall be focusing on what’s taken place today. Most of the time our false reality of past, time and future cause us to create new problems for ourselves that circulate around depression, delusion, anger, frustration and sometimes suicide.
This method would reduce the symptom of a prisoner’s problem in solitary confinement like a doctor who cures symptoms of peoples’ sickness but not the sickness itself. When prisoners have a headache, they filed a sick call form to be provided some pain killer tablets so the prisoner can feel better for a short period. But this is not the complete cure because prisoners’ headaches can come back in the future. In parts of this book, I will provide an everlasting medicine, solution or relief, from the pain prisoners suffer in solitary confinement.
In isolation a prisoner’s mind may become unclean which disallows one to perceive reality properly. Sometimes an unclean mind can’t be self-controlled because of the negative things that we allow into our mind, or the negative things that happen in the course of the day, which goes hand in hand. Negativity can change a prisoner’s mood and state of mind. In order to perceive anything correctly, prisoners must first check their state of mind.
(Heru Set El said; mental ability depends upon him or her being capable of becoming aware of reality.)
I remember one time my family and I drove from Philadelphia to Maryland in a deep conversation and time did not exist. Places did not exist. People did not exist, only the topic of our “conversation”. We were stuck in a whole different dimension. When we were finally finished the “conversation” we were in Maryland. This exercise is a form of mindfulness. Have you ever read a book and your mind wondered off? At times you must be redirected to focus back to the page you were reading. You would be strengthening your mind and brain in isolation.
Mutual understanding of mindfulness takes practice, but if you master it, it will not harm you but make prisoners stronger. Prisoners need to train themselves to maintain a balanced mental state. Prisoners are emotional beings but if we take away the “E” away from the word, we are left with motion. Our mental attitude is behind the motion that we put in place towards health; eating, sleeping, speaking, and thinking. It is what would keep us at peace with our inner self.
Prisoners in solitary confinement, and general population, should learn to travel into different dimensions once they get angry. It is a safeguard that will keep us calm and away from the “E” in our motion.
We must place our state of mind in a whole different dimension where titles do not exist such as; African American, American Indian, Latin American, French American, inmates, criminal schizoaffective, antisocial personality disorder, ugly, fat, etc.
Also, places do not exist such as; state correction institution Albron, Pennsylvania, Michigan, B block, B pod, etc. The Nation of Islam are qualified students of mindfulness. There are no uncivilized people in the NOI.
The Nation of Islam masters mindfulness as a form of the greatest development of spirituality. This has led to brain power that they now possess through their evolvement in the seven dimensions: 1. Physical, 2. Emotional, 3. Mental, 4. Spiritual, 5. Soul, 6. Self, 7. Will.
(Elijah Muhammad Said; The mind of man and woman is infinite and capable of achieving anything that he or she can truly conceive and visualize within their mind.)
Our brain has one mind. But the one mind has seven “dimensions”. Meditation = mindfulness = prayer brings a person a peaceful environment inside the Temple and out. Men and women’s minds influence their bodies profoundly. The mind has just as much potential to be a medicine as it can be a poison. When the prisoner’s mind is at peace with supreme knowledge and understanding he/she can benefit others.
In isolation it’s best to meditate in a peaceful environment where there is no distraction. This would help a person mentally perceive his or her surroundings. Mindfulness relies only on a portion of our brain leaving our mind to fill in the rest. It gives us a clear accurate assessment of what we are observing in the cell or out the cell window. We can use breathing techniques as we sit down comfortably on the bed. We shall hold our breath for two minutes before letting it out. When prisoners concentrate on breathing, attention shifts momentarily from the tense and competitive condition of the match to the internal relaxed state.
I’ll be the first to come into an agreement that we prisoners need more diversity on mindfulness. Because the more we use it, the more opportunities would be given us to master our inner self and destroy our dark side that can be a burden to living a healthy life.
The concept of mindfulness in isolation is when prisoners do not allow their minds to fall into a delusional state. Every time their minds do fall into a delusional state, they quietly change their mental channel to a more peaceful and clear mental state. This helps them to avoid falling into a destructive impulsive rage.
The fruit of Islam and Muslim Girl Training is the military of freedom, justice, equality, and peace. It is not a military of destruction but a military of construction that enforces discipline through cardio. When doing cardio, they must use mindfulness every time they lose focus within the cardio or mentally give up. They have to maintain their mental discipline to complete the cardio reps, and this is how they strengthen the mind and body.
Most of the time I am in another mental dimension when I’m; 1. Daydreaming, 2. Exercising, 3. Writing, 4. Reading, 5. Drawing, 6. Self-talking, 7. Listening to jazz. These seven dimensions help me maintain peace within my inner self that helps strengthen my mind and body and well into a direction of power. I have become a God in person due to being no longer captivated to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections stress assessment technique and behavior modification programming.
When I say I am God in person, I am telling you that I am self-governing. It’s like having sovereignty. Sovereignty is the power of self-control over the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, soul, self and will.
If we take out the male supremacy concept of God, we will reveal the true science of self and bring into light man and woman being equal to the essence of nature. When we understand the science of life we then realize there are female and male trees, plants, flowers, and animals.
To understand who God is, you must first develop a supreme understanding of nature. The divine teachings of the most honorable Elijah Muhammad lay the base for our understanding and study of universal history and the whole of humanity traced back to the beginning of time. His teachings introduce us to the reality of God within the reality of God as manifested supreme beings. This secret of the age has been kept back from the public for thousands, millions, trillions of years until today with the coming of his master teacher, W. Fard Muhammad. His God presence in the world today is bringing about a cessation of the type of civilizations we have know on our planet and in other galactic worlds of planetary kingdoms.
In the beginning of our divine creation of the mind and body, there was something in the material of the make-up of the First God that needed perfecting to evolve a world that would last forever without limitations. Elijah Muhammad has taught us that there will never be an end to the supreme being because the enemies are having a difficult time destroying us in their prisons, solitary confinement, courtrooms, and communities. But through cycles and cycles of experimentation done on prisoners in isolation, we gradually evolved into the state of completed perfection and peace of mind through mindfulness.
The resurrection of the dead is a mental or spiritual rising to a higher, pure spiritual, life of already living physical human beings who walk about upon the Earth. They will grow into a new growth as human beings in total submission to the will of God.
