On the Significance of Mantra with Meditation

This is a short explanation about why mantras are used with certain meditation systems and their role of importance to the meditation process.

“It’s helpful to begin with a brief historical background, especially since we’re discussing meditation in the context of Ancient India.”

Before the Holy Man Pantanjali in what was once known as the Indus-Kush Valley civilization (Ancient India), there were sages in Kemet, known as Ancient Egypt.

In actuality, the old Egyptian priest traveled the known world, and some settled in Ancient India.

The sages of Ancient Egypt brought their hieroglyphic language to Ancient India, amongst their sages called Reishi, who merged the sacred text into their own Sanskrit.

The Kemet priest introduced their language as Mduntr, meaning sacred words of the divine, and Hekau or Heka, meaning utterances of words of power of divine words.

The He“Ka” and Mantr“Ra” are the same in origin.

The mantra Hum, Om Aum are variations of words of power!

What is of great importance here is that, in my view, what too many practitioners of Westernized modern-day yoga ignore is “The Principle of Sound Variation.”

The universal law of vibration of sound is applicable to the transcendental meditation process.

The purpose of meditation is ritualistic.

The savasana – rest is a guided ritual to get a person to the trance state! The medium or vehicle is meditative.

In other words, medium is the trance or transcendental meditation.

One way we reach the hypnotic state is by being guided through sound vibration, language, voice, drum beat, instrument vibrations … to speak is sound.

Our breathing (pranayama  breath  control  expand or pranayama -> restraint  contract  expand).

The heartbeats and pulse rate are numbers on a scale.

“Once again, many Western yoga practitioners overlook the deeper spiritual significance of these sacred words.”

Where breath and not just movement unite but sound merges with width, breath, movement, body, mind, and soul … 😊

This paper is only a brief summary to educate that there are esoteric teachings embedded in yoga meditation practices that the mantra is associated with.

I wanted to write a concise essay to sum up that the mantra is not just a group of any old words to make a person feel good or better.

In fact, it is not even the word but the vibration of the sound that is powerful!

Mantras are really different from motivational speaking or positive reinforcement self-empowerment tools of affirmation.

Mantras are a science!

The mantras’ vibration are another law. The Law of Correspondences!

Each vibration corresponds to a power!

This means the energy frequency within the vibration connects to a power that the specific mantra can conjure up or summon.

This is not magic. It is not spooky. It is a science that can heal as real as the art of breathing.

Mantras are taken into trance states through meditation. The final key here in closing is can you bring the forces of mantra out of meditation and influence your life and the world with good power, energy. 😊 Namaste

After Words

You all have my permission to do this up for future transformation yoga classes if you desire to.

Because this is the finals, I feel amongst friends and family to tell you my Ren = name.

Sehu-Kessa-Saa Trabanst, pronounced Say Who Ksah Saah Tahbansee
Sehu. – In India is a teacher it means to teach. In Ancient Egypt, Mantra hieroglyphs.

Sehu-Kessa-Saa means I submit to divine knowledge and divine wisdom of the sage. The SAGE is GOD, meaning the DIVINE. Knowledge and Wisdom of the God head or universal knowledge and wisdom faculty of the universal soul, spirit, the true self within every Being. Saa also means “Time.” Tabansi is not Egyptian, it’s West African. It means endurance  “One who endures.”
