Hello, my name is Marcus Harris from Chicago IL. I am 38 years old and I have been locked up for the last 12 1/2 years and in that time I discovered a knack for writing. I’m writing this letter for the purpose of hopefully being able to reach readers through the outlet you all provide to incarcerated individuals. I am currently serving the last 16 months of a 16 year sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections and I am in constant pursuit of a brighter tomorrow.
